Don't know how Jarvo69 got on the pitch again, says England batsman Ollie Pope :Oval Test

ngland batsman Ollie Pope was as bemused as the rest of the cricket fraternity as Daniel Jarvis, known as Jarvo69, stormed onto the pitch on Day 2 of the 4th Test between England and India at the Oval in London.

Jarvo69, the YouTuber, stormed onto the pitch, breaching the poor security in England grounds once again. He ran onto the field and even collided with Jonny Bairstow during the 34th over of the England innings on Day 2. The security guards had to rush in as Jarvo69 was removed from the field after he interrupted play again.

"Jarvo has made a few appearances this series. I don't know how he's got on the pitch again, to be honest; I try to stay in my bubble and don't let it affect me. Just block it out," Ollie Pope said.

"He just stops the play for five minutes every time he comes on. You've just got to try and block it out. The art of batting is to switch on and off - you try to switch off in between. Whatever happens before or between balls, I try to get into a good place for that next ball," he added.

Daniel Jarvis has gained notoriety for impersonating Indian cricketers and breaching security in England during the ongoing Test series. On Friday, it was the third time in as many Tests that he took advantage of the poor security arrangements in England grounds.

Notably, Jarvis was arrested by South London Police on suspicions of assault on Friday. The Yorkshire County had decided to fine and ban him for life. However, the England and Wales Cricket Board is yet to take any action against the YouTuber.

Ollie Pope did not let the interruption affect his play as the comeback man hit 81 to help England post 290 as the hosts took a lead of 99 runs.

India went to Stumps on Day 2 at 43 for 0 with both Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul getting a steady start but the visitors need a strong batting show in the 2nd innings if they are to challenge England.
